Definition

WSum6 is the weighted sum of the six thought-related special scores. It not only counts how many peculiarities appear, but also how much clinical weight they carry according to severity.

Interpretation

The higher WSum6 is, the greater the overall weight of cognitive distortion or peculiarity.
Two protocols with similar Sum6 can still differ if one contains more severe indicators.
In adult protocols, a high WSum6 deserves closer review of thought consistency and disorganization risk.

Cautions

WSum6 does not replace checking which specific special scores are present.
It is useful to see whether the increase comes from Lv2, CONTAM, or several smaller indicators accumulating.
It should be read with M-, PTI, mediation, and processing rather than as an isolated marker.
