[Interpretation/Interpersonal] Human Content

[Interpretation/Interpersonal] Human Content

Aliases

  • HumanCont
  • Human Content
  • total human content

Definition

HumanCont summarizes how much human content appears in the record when H + (H) + Hd + (Hd) are added together. At the interpersonal level, it helps estimate how much weight people and human themes carry in the person's relational world.

Interpretation

  • If HumanCont is high, there is usually more attention to people, human scenes, or interpersonal exchange.
  • If it is low, there may be less interest in human material, more relational distance, or a focus on nonpersonal objects and features.
  • The variable shows amount of human representation, not its quality.
  • To judge whether those representations are more integrated or more distorted, it is useful to review PureH, GHR, and PHR.

Cautions

  • HumanCont does not include Hx.
  • A high value does not automatically mean healthy or empathic relationships.
  • A low value alone is not enough to conclude chronic isolation.

Cross References

  • This variable reflects the weight of human themes, not the full form of relatedness.
  • It should be read with PureH, GHR, PHR, and H ratio.
