Definition

DQ+ indicates how much integrated, sophisticated organization appears in processing. In interpretation, it is used as a sign of capacity to structure percepts in a complex and articulated way.

Interpretation

If DQ+ is adequately present, there is usually better capacity to organize complex material in an integrated form.
When DQ+ is sustained and DQv does not weigh too heavily, processing may look more elaborated and sophisticated.
The value gains meaning when compared with Zd, PSV, and the general distribution of developmental quality.

Cautions

A high DQ+ does not automatically mean excellent adaptation.
If DQ+ is high but DQv is also high, organization may still be uneven.
DQ+ should not be confused with v/+; they belong to the same coding family but serve different interpretive roles.
