Definition

(Hd) is coded when the response describes only a part of a fantastic, mythic, or fictional human figure.
It is the imaginary counterpart of Hd.

Conditions

• The main content has to be an incomplete human detail.
• That detail has to belong to a nonrealistic, fantastic, or mythic figure.
• Typical examples include a demon's head, a witch's arm, an angel's eyes, or humanoid parts of a fantasy creature.
• If the response describes a whole fantastic figure, go back to scoring-input/contents/(H).

Cautions

• (Hd) is not the same as scoring-input/contents/Hd; the key difference is the imaginary or mythic character.
• (Hd) is not the same as scoring-input/contents/(H); (H) requires a whole figure.
• Many (Hd) responses also call for review of scoring-input/gphr/PHR, but that decision is still separate.
• Do not use (Hd) just because the response seems odd; the person must actually describe an unrealistic human part.
