Terms of Use

Effective Date: February 15, 2026

These Terms explain the basic conditions for using the Exner Rorschach Comprehensive System Structural Summary calculator and its optional BYOK AI assistants. Structural Summary calculation and reference search require no account. The coding and interpretation assistants are available only when users connect their own OpenAI API key. The service does not sell platform credits or subscriptions.

Service scope

Structural Summary calculation and reference-document search can be used without an account. The interpretation helper and coding helper are available only after the user enters an OpenAI API key.

AI features run only through the OpenAI API key entered by the user; the service does not sell a separate AI subscription or usage account.

The service supports Structural Summary calculation, learning, and review. It does not administer the Rorschach, make a formal diagnosis, determine treatment, or replace legal or administrative judgment.

BYOK-based AI features

BYOK means that the user connects and uses their own API key. Model costs, quotas, response policies, outages, and access permissions are governed by OpenAI’s terms and policies.

The entered API key is encrypted into a 24-hour HttpOnly cookie and is not stored in the server database. Users may end the AI session at any time to clear the cookie.

AI responses and responsibility

AI responses are reference and review support only. They do not replace independent clinical judgment, formal diagnosis, or professional responsibility.

Final interpretation and responsibility always remain with the user. Users should review AI output critically together with the examinee’s actual response context, test conditions, cultural background, and clinical observations.

Prohibited use

Users must not use or share another person’s API key without authorization. Users must not disrupt service operations, exploit security weaknesses, or use the service in violation of applicable law.

Users are advised not to enter directly identifying personal information or unnecessarily sensitive information in AI conversations and remain responsible for appropriate de-identification and data handling.
