[Interpretation/Ideation] WSum6

[Interpretation/Ideation] WSum6

Aliases

  • WSum6
  • Weighted Sum6
  • weighted six special scores

Definition

WSum6 is the weighted sum of the six thought-related special scores. It not only counts how many peculiarities appear, but also how much clinical weight they carry according to severity.

Interpretation

  • The higher WSum6 is, the greater the overall weight of cognitive distortion or peculiarity.
  • Two protocols with similar Sum6 can still differ if one contains more severe indicators.
  • In adult protocols, a high WSum6 deserves closer review of thought consistency and disorganization risk.

Cautions

  • WSum6 does not replace checking which specific special scores are present.
  • It is useful to see whether the increase comes from Lv2, CONTAM, or several smaller indicators accumulating.
  • It should be read with M-, PTI, mediation, and processing rather than as an isolated marker.
