[Coding/Determinants] C

[Coding/Determinants] C

Aliases

  • C
  • pure color
  • color without form

Definition

C is used when chromatic color alone determines the response and form does not genuinely participate. It is pure color responding.

Conditions

  • Chromatic color is the basis of the response.
  • Form does not make a real coding contribution.
  • The response is more purely color-driven than scoring-input/determinants/CF.

Cautions

  • C should not be used if form still contributes secondarily; in that case, use scoring-input/determinants/CF.
  • C is not assigned just because a colorful answer sounds emotional; the response has to depend on color itself.
  • Interpretively, C belongs to the chromatic color family and should later be read together with FC and CF.
