Aliases
- (Hd)
- imaginary human detail
- mythic human detail
Definition
(Hd) is coded when the response describes only a part of a fantastic, mythic, or fictional human figure.
It is the imaginary counterpart of Hd.
Conditions
- The main content has to be an incomplete human detail.
- That detail has to belong to a nonrealistic, fantastic, or mythic figure.
- Typical examples include a demon's head, a witch's arm, an angel's eyes, or humanoid parts of a fantasy creature.
- If the response describes a whole fantastic figure, go back to scoring-input/contents/(H).
Cautions
(Hd)is not the same as scoring-input/contents/Hd; the key difference is the imaginary or mythic character.(Hd)is not the same as scoring-input/contents/(H);(H)requires a whole figure.- Many
(Hd)responses also call for review of scoring-input/gphr/PHR, but that decision is still separate. - Do not use
(Hd)just because the response seems odd; the person must actually describe an unrealistic human part.
